The Microsoft Security Development Lifecycle med Steve Lipner
Over the last seven years, Microsoft has placed increasing emphasis on building software that is resistant to hostile attack. The Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) is the process that Microsoft has developed to ensure that development teams know what steps they should take to achieve an appropriate level of security and to give management confidence that the right steps are in fact being taken.
This presentation will cover the origins and philosophy of the SDL, then summarize the specific classes of requirements that the SDL mandates, and describe some specific examples of product changes resulting from application of the SDL. The presentation will conclude with a discussion of resources available to organizations that wish to apply the SDL to their proprietary or open source software and a set of recommendations for getting started in implementing the SDL.
Seminaret skjer hos Microsoft Norge på deres nye kontor på Lyssaker.
